The library supports corporate KM efforts by identifying targeted audiences for IFAD's knowledge products. As a hub of knowledge, the Library encourages the use of its premises for knowledge-exchange events that also includes remote participation. The IFAD Library, located in the Qatar Information Centre at IFAD HQ, provides access to external information and resources supporting IFAD's business activities in rural development. It also follows international trends and events to continuously update the internal information library database.
SERVICES
- Research assistance: One of the prime objectives of the library is to assist all staff in HQ and in country offices on their research and guiding users towards the most appropriate and dependable sources of information. The library responds to staff needs also through acquisition of resources that can be shared across the divisions and departments.

The Library will be offering training modules as part of the corporate Learning Management System (LMS): these video modules include general overview of the resources, statistics and development literature. The library also manages the corporate publication dashboard [link] that allows real-time monitoring of web views and downloads of publications.
